Givin In Flow YTT Scholarship Program
We believe yoga is for everybody and recognize that participating in a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training may not be financially possible for those who are interested.
The mission of the Givin In Flow scholarship program is to offer a partial scholarship to make our offerings more financially accessible to those who are called to this path of teaching yoga, and also hold the vision to create a more diverse, inclusive yoga community, bring yoga to underrepresented and/or underserved communities and are striving to create change within your community.
Examples (not limited to):
- Social Work
- Addiction, Eating Disorder Recovery
- Prisons or Correctional Facilities
- Hospitals/Illness Recovery
- Disability/Special Needs
- Donation Based Yoga for a Cause
- Bringing Yoga to Underserved/Underrepresented Communities
Included is an element of Seva (which means service in Sanskrit) and will require you to arrive up to 15 minutes prior to and stay 15 minutes after training each day to help assist with setting up, straightening up from the day and occasionally assisting the lead trainers if needed. Because Seva is such an important aspect of this Givin in Flow opportunity, it is important that you are present at each training session if you are the recipient of this scholarship. (Of course, I understand if an unexpected emergency should arise.)
The Givin In Flow partial scholarship is 50% off of the full program rate of $2,785, bringing the total cost to $1,392.50.
Please submit your application below along with a short 2-4 minute video introducing yourself and what your intention is with sharing yoga after training (who are you going to serve and why). We want to see and feel your unique personality and are excited to learn more about you! Please either send a link to view your video online or a link to download it (using Dropbox, Google Drive or any other Cloud service). If you need help with this, please let me know.
Applications will be accepted November 4 - December 9, 2019. You will hear back either way if you have been accepted by December 10, 2019.
If you have been accepted, first payment will need to be submitted by December 13, 2019. Payment may be split into two payments of $696.25 if needed. If payment is split into two payments, second payment must be made by February 21, 2020.
